Hello World
Welcome to my blog. I'm Justin Tannenbaum — founder of JET Ventures, a holding company for digital and boring businesses.
I spend most of my time building and running AppStream Studio (an AI focused application development studio) and aiventic.ai (AI agents for field service management).
Fresh Start
I originally ran this blog on Ghost. It worked fine, but I wanted full control — so I rebuilt it from scratch on my own stack. Next.js, markdown files, deployed on Vercel. No CMS, no dependencies I don't own. Just code and content.
If you're reading old posts, they were migrated over. If something looks off, that's why.
What I'll Write About
This blog is where I share what I'm learning as I build. Expect posts on:
- Product management — how to ship things that matter
- AI development — practical lessons from building AI products
- Business building — the messy reality of starting and running companies
- Commercial real estate — what I'm learning as I invest in CRE
- Bitcoin — why I'm long BTC and what I'm paying attention to
- Tennessee Vols — because you can take the boy out of Knoxville, but you can't take Knoxville out of the boy
Why Write?
Writing forces clarity. If I can't explain something in a blog post, I probably don't understand it well enough. And if something I share helps someone else avoid a mistake or see an opportunity, even better.
More soon.

How I actually use user feedback
Most PMs collect feedback. Few actually do anything useful with it. Here is how I turn user complaints into product direction.
